Carlton Castletroy Park Hotel Limerick - Guest Reviews

This was my second time to stay in The Carlton Castletroy Park Hotel. I must say I enjoyed my stay immensely. The staff at all time were very helpful and courteous. The location was perfect as it was ... close enough to the buzz of the main shopping centres, pubs and restaurants but it was nice to return to the calmness of the hotel. Food in the main restaurant and bar was very good with a varied menus. I also used the spa facilities and I must say that it was an excellent experience. Would recommend this hotel to my friends. ---

We stayed at this hotel last month for work, but my family accompanied me. We had a great room, great service, great food, and were pleasantly surprised by the pool and fitness equipment, as we had been ... staying in B and B's and really didn't expect this! The only issue we had was with the internet connection...this issue is from my 21 year old daughter who wanted to keep in touch with her friends back in Canada! But we were presenting at the University, which is right across the street! Great stay! Thanks to all! ---

While our stays have been short, we have always found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Facilities good and would have no problem recommending it to anyone

The staff at the hotel were among the best I have ever seen. From the cheerful greeting at breakfast by a highly efficient hostess, to the Front Desk staff and managers who remembered my name, I felt ... truly welcomed. Our room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The only recommendation would be for the hotel to run a shuttle to the airport for hotel guests. A second idea would be to have a shuttle that went into Limerick City once or twice a day. Taxi costs do start to add up although the local bus is a good alternative. A winning property deserving of a second stay. Cheers. ---

Customer service was 5 star. Got lost on way there and rang for directions. The guy at reception (apologies for not taking your name) was fantastic. He talked me through getting back on track and stayed on whilst I travelled some of the distance as there were a lot of lefts and rights. Throughout, everyone I dealt with from reception, bar and the spa were great.

The Jarman family and I booked in for the weekend, the staff were excellent, the food was great, the atmosphere was fantastic, rooms very clean. Overall a wonderful weekend with many more to come at this hotel.

We had a lovely time in the hotel. We stayed to break up the journey from Dublin to Kerry with a toddler. We used the pool twice and our daughter really loved it. Thanks.

We checked in for one night - just for old time sake as we have fond memories of our frequent stays there when the children were small, but on this occasion had a meeting the following morning. We liked it so much and the rate was so good, we found an excuse to stay again the following night.

Really nice hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful. One small oversight is that I called the hotel on the night before checking in to request a disabled access shower. As I was only staying 1 night ... it was not such a big deal but the request either not on my booking or the person checking me in forgot to tell me that there was no rooms of that nature available.Overall though a vey enjoyable stay at the hotel. ---

I had a very enjoyable stay in the hotel. The room was very hot, at times a little uncomfortable, it was very humid and the smell of chlorine from the pool was quite strong.Rm134, that said it didn't ... ruin the experience. Otherwise very comfortable. The bar was excellent and the staff were very competent and friendly particularly one bar man JP. Just the right amount of conversation and not intruding on anyone's space. The only issue my girlfriend and I had with the bar was the lighting was very bright. For a comfortable bar it was extremely bright, maybe lower lighting would make it that bit cosier and allow for relaxing and drinking that bit more.just a suggestion. ---
