over all experience of the hotel was warm and welcoming, mix up in room, in which we where then allocated a nice suite with slippers and bathrobe, no mini bar though the bar staff where very friendly and helpful 'top marks to them guys' breakfast was yum yum

Excellent hotel! Very friendly staff service very good. Complimentary papers both days delivered to room.. Location excellent as I was attending a tournament in UL.only fault jacuzzi not working! I would definitely stay again. Jacqui Morgan

Every member of the staff was extremely helpful. They went out of their way to make sure that I was comfortable. Once I finally figured out how to operate the window, the room was completely comfortable. You might want to add a paragraph to explain how to open the window with the hinges on the side rather than the tilt opening. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay.

A worthwhile weekend and amazing service at the wedding. Neil the wedding organizer was excellent on the 4th July. I will be highly recommending it to friends.

I booked 1 nights stay while attending my cousins wedding. The service is impeccable. I loved the small touches of the welcome phone call in the room and the letter under the door for the night cap. The ... evening meal was gorgeous and breakfast was perfect. The option for a late checkout and also for an extra nights stay is great value. While I did not get the chance to take advantage of the use of the swimming pool and gym, I did take a look and it was very inviting. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will be recommending this hotel in the future and also returning myself. ---

Stayed in the hotel for the June 09 bank holiday weekend. The hotel was very nice & so were all the staff. Breakfast and dinner was of a very good standard. The leisure center on site had good facilities. The location was also good. All in all a very nice hotel.

This beautiful hotel was a wonderful introduction to the charming country of Ireland. The people were all extremely kind and helpful, and the service was outstanding. In addition to the luxurious rooms ... en suite, there is a fully equipped spa with a lovely large pool and fitness center that are available for use everyday. The food was fantastic, including a large selection of breakfast selections and delicious lunch and dinner choices. The location is ideal, as it is adjacent to the University of Limerick and near great Ireland Coastal historical castles, cliffs and towns. The ambiance of the hotel and the kind and wonderful staff who were always there to help, made my daughter's and my time in Limerick one that we will always treasure. ---

My daughter and her two friends stayed 10 days ago. They did not spend long in the hotel as they arrived very late :) and headed off reasonably early to meet their class mates. They were impressed with ... the room, the ability to bring a McDonalds feast into the Hotel at 3am and the flexibility to leave their bags until their parents could collect same the following day. The rate was also very competitive. ---

This was the first time that I have stayed at the Castletroy since it became part of the Carlton Group. I am pleased to report that all aspects of my visit were up to the high standards. Staff are friendly and helpful, the room is well presented and the food is very good.
